Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms describe permitted use of Viademy’s website and school service. School-specific orders and agreements govern the access, pricing and commitments agreed with that school.
The service and its operator
Viademy is an educational VR lesson service operated by Mapnook s.r.o. It combines classroom activities with a staff web app and supported headsets. Contact hello@viademy.com for access, support or questions about these terms.
Browsing this website or submitting an enquiry does not start a paid subscription. Any paid access, trial conditions, renewals and cancellation terms must be set out in the applicable offer or school agreement. This page does not replace those agreed terms.
School accounts and access
Staff accounts are intended for authorised school staff and other authorised adults. Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and use the permissions assigned to you. School administrators manage authorised staff and paired devices. Let us know promptly if an account or device may have been compromised.
Pupils take part under school supervision. Do not create pupil accounts or enter identifiable pupil details unless the feature, lawful basis and any required processing arrangements have been agreed.
Lesson content and intellectual property
Viademy software, branding and lesson materials belong to Mapnook s.r.o. or their respective licensors. Authorised school access permits use of the included lessons, worksheets and teacher materials for the agreed educational purposes.
Do not resell access, publicly redistribute restricted lesson content, share staff accounts outside the authorised group or remove ownership notices. Any broader licence must be agreed with us. Third-party and open-source materials remain subject to their own licences.
Responsible and safe use
Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property. Do not attempt unauthorised access, bypass access restrictions, disrupt the service or introduce malicious code.
The school remains responsible for supervising the lesson, preparing an appropriate physical space and following the headset manufacturer’s age, safety and health guidance. Educational content supports teaching and does not replace professional judgement or required supervision.
Privacy and school responsibilities
Our privacy policy explains data handling. The school is responsible for the lawful information it supplies and for its own notices and instructions. Where we process personal data on a school’s behalf, the required contractual arrangements must be established; the public GDPR overview alone is not a processing agreement.
Availability, changes and responsibility
Features and supported content may change, and maintenance or faults may interrupt availability. Any service levels or specific support commitments are those expressly agreed with the school. Report problems to hello@viademy.com.
Access may need to be restricted to address abuse, security risks, unlawful use or a material breach of the applicable agreement. We aim to make restrictions proportionate and communicate them where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The applicable school agreement governs any further allocation of responsibility; this page does not introduce a blanket liability waiver.
Applicable law and updates
Czech law applies, subject to any mandatory protections that cannot be displaced, including applicable consumer rights. Raise concerns with us first so we can try to resolve them.
We publish changes with an updated date. Where a change affects an existing contractual relationship, the applicable agreement and law govern notice and acceptance; simply changing this page does not remove those requirements.
